As a furter support for the user and to
simplify his or her day-to-day work, a software program has been
developed, that makes it possible to combine the device with a computer
and to take advantage of the latest PC technologiy. |

The Akutest program can be run either using a mouse or the function keys. On the left side of the screen there is room for pictures with the graphic representation of acupuncture points and any pertinent texts. On the right is located the "measurement instrument" in the form of a bar indicator with scale. The remaining surface contains the "function field" for menu texts and other kinds of indications. |

Conductance measurement (hand-hand measurement) Every diagnosis begins with measuring the conductance, which delivers initial information on the patient`s overall condition. Measurement series For this there are bar graphs available with the following selection criteria: first value, second value, maximum, increase in cross-lines per second. In addition, measurement series can be selected by date. |

Measurements can be
displayed as a bar diagram; this makes it easier for the therapist to
evaluate them. It is also possible to print out the data desired. The conductance values between the four sectors of the body are measured, in order to provide the patient`s energy status. The device is delivered in a
shock-protected aluminium case, and because of its small size (width:
254 mm x height: 110 mm x depth: 256 mm) its light wight (3,2 kg) makes
it very portable for easy use on site at the patient`s home. The
extensive accessoires can also fit in this case. |

Hardware requirements The hardware requirements for the Akutest software program have been deliberately kept low. Even with a 386 computer with 33 MHZ and approximately 2 MB RAM, hard drive, serial interface, color monitor and mouse, you can take full advantage of the program`s features.

Training We regularly hold information seminars on using the device in practice to let you take full advantage of the possibilities of the electro acupuncture device.
